During Civil Unions Hearing, Colorado Woman Fear Mongers About The Dangers Of Sodomy, Sex Education

Yesterday, Colorado’s Senate Judiciary Committee held its first hearing on Senate Bill 172, which would legalize civil unions and grant same-sex couple some of the rights and responsibilities provided to married heterosexual couples. During the hearing, Rosina Kovar, a grandmother and the "at-large director" of the conservative group Eagle Forum, spoke in opposition to the bill, warning about the dangers of “sodomy” while attempting to link civil unions to sex education in schools and sexually transmitted diseases:
