Equality Matters' Kerry Eleveld Wins "Outstanding Digital Journalism" GLAAD Award

This weekend, Equality Matters' own Kerry Eleveld won the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) award for "Outstanding Digital Journalism Article" for her series "View From Washington," a weekly column she wrote while working as The Advocate's Washington correspondent for the first two years of the Obama administration.

Last year, she won the "Excellence in LGBT Media" award from the National Lesbian and Gay Journalist Association.

Eleveld is currently editor of Equality Matters.
