Fox News Radio commentator Todd Starnes has joined fellow Fox News employee Mike Huckabee in defense of Chick-fil-A, the fast food giant under renewed fire after President Dan Cathy admitted to having an anti-gay philosophy.
Starnes took to his twitter account to defend Chick-fil-A, calling its critics “anti-Christian, anti-capitalism, or anti-chicken”:
In his July 19 Fox News Commentary, Starnes continued his defense of the fast food chain, criticizing the “anti-Christian, anti-family” media for describing Chick-fil-A as being anti-gay:
THE PRESIDENT OF THE CHICKEN CHAIN WITH CHRISTIAN VALUES
SAYS HE OPPOSES GAY MARRIAGE.
AND FEARS GOD COULD JUDGE OUR COUNTRY BECAUSE OF SAME SEX UNIONS.
THE MAINSTREAM MEDIA NEARLY HYPERVENTILATED.
CHICK FIL A IS ANTI-GAY – THE HEADLINES SCREAMED.
ONCE AGAIN – EXPOSING THEIR ANTI-CHRISTIAN, ANTI-FAMILY HOSTILITY AND HYPOCRISY.
NOTICE HOW THEY GIVE COMPANIES THAT SUPPORT GAY MARRIAGE POSITIVE NEWS COVERAGE.
LIKE JC PENNEY AND TARGET.
IN OTHER WORDS – THE MEDIA BELIEVES PRO-GAY IS GOOD – ANYTHING ELSE IS INTOLERANT BIGOTRY.
Chick-fil-A has donated several million dollars over the past few years to organizations that attempt to “cure,” demonize, and discriminate against LGBT people.
